This is the first official CD that represents a milestone in KLASIKVM Quartet’s history. We chosed our best tracks, perfectly fitted to suit every refined taste, and we produced our first CD. Originally called “Music like a fruit”, the CD expressed the our feelings for classical music. We only suggest a thing: play it nonstop. The music played on this Audio CD includes world’s best favorite tunes as: A.C. JOBIM – Wave, E. GARNER – Misty, ANDERSON – The Typewriter, GADE – Jealousy, BACH – Air and more. Most of the tunes were originally arranged for voice and string quartet by Alexandru Dutulescu and Vladimir Dmitrienco.
NOW PLAYING WITH FLUTE
Continuing the tradition of combining string quartet and other instruments, 2005 brings KLASIKVM Ensemble again as quartet, this time flute replacing the first violin. Since 2005, while producing a new demo CD, Catalin Opritoiu joined KLASIKVM Ensemble to record together “Now Playing With Flute”. The result is a harmonic mixture of flute’s warm, touchy sounds and the deep, well organized canvas of strings, concretized in classical music, bossanova, jazz and romanian folklore music.
W.A. MOZART QUINTET in A Major KV 581
In 2002, AKI WATANABE, clarinet – JAPAN, invited KLASIKVM Ensemble to record together Quintet in A Major KV 581 by Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART. The recording was featured on her CD released in 2003, Japan – Jasrac. Recording date: 14/15 December 2002, Location: George Enescu Museum, Bucharest. On the CD, also featured The George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, soloist: Aki WATANABE, MOZART – The Clarinet Concerto A Major KV 622. The interaction between KLASIKVM Ensemble and clarinet constitues an important asset in KLASIKVM Ensemble future plans to offer support for other soloists, or as a basement in the harmonic field.
